This head, with computer generated gas flow design, is opening new performance horizons for the venerable B-series engine. Immediate performance and cooling improvements will be noticed from this cross flow alloy design. This head is completely assembled and ready-to-go with Large Size Unleaded Valves, Silicone Bronze Guides and Hardened Seats.
The exhaust ports are in the original location so that regular early manifolds or headers may be used. The intake ports have been moved to the opposite side, hence the innovation of this design and the extra power.
There is a selection of intake manifold kits for the MGB Cross flow head, to suit Weber DCOE / DGV and SU carburettors. You will notice an immediate difference for those of you who wish to run stock 1 1/2" SUs, but from there the possibilities only grow!
- 1 3/4" SUs offer the best balance of power and ease of operation.
